Climate crisis is and still remains to pose a great threat. It is more than numbers, it is more than National Determined Contributions (NDCs) submitted every five years.
Environmental movements are now shifting narratives and public awareness around climate change. But their biggest argument is, “change might not be coming from conferences.” A major challenge that’s been standing in the way of climate action is; the lack of implementation of policies agreed in numerous conferences. Something that has pushed countries from the Global South into prolonged drought, floods and global warming. With this, shall we wrap our heads around what we expect from this year’s COP27.
