Renowned economist Dr David Ndii hosts Prof Joseph Stiglitz to look at the COVID-19 pandemic from the global economic standpoint.
Prof Stiglitz is a celebrated American economist, public policy analyst, and a professor at Columbia University’s Business School, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (Department of Economics) and the School of International and Public Affairs. He is a recipient of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences (2001). He is a former senior vice president and chief economist of the World Bank and is a former member and chairman of the United States President’s Council of Economic Advisers. He is the Chief Economist at the Roosevelt Institute.
