A severe dry spell in Kenya’s northern rangelands is rapidly consuming the livelihoods of inhabitants as natural resources become scarcer. This has resulted into frequent deadly conflicts amongst pastoralist communities. In this first episode of The End of the River, Africa Uncensored’s John-Allan Namu​ documents how the drying up of the heavily relied upon Ewaso Ng’iro River has affected the residents.
