It is 70 years since Resolution 217, The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, was adopted by the United Nations. Africa Uncensored’s John-Allan Namu talked to the Executive Director of Amnesty International Kenya, Irungu Houghton, on the relevance of that resolution adopted in 1948 today and the strides made by the country over the years to embrace human rights as well as the misdeeds, in our ongoing partnership with The Elephant.
